Ashley Parks

Ashley Parks, LCSW, trauma therapist, EMDR therapist NC

Hi, I’m Ashley Parks, and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, but you might also call me an inner peace facilitator. I support people who wish to regain a sense of safety, autonomy, and connection in their life after stressful or traumatic experiences, but who are held back by overwhelming feelings, gaps in memory, and uncertainty. I help individuals work through emotional wounds from past traumas such as sexual abuse, guiding them toward recovery and peace of mind so that they can access a renewed sense of well-being, autonomy, and peace.

I also specialize in transgender and women’s issues. I utilize EMDR and parts work in my practice. EMDR helps process painful memories and related emotions and sensations, while parts work helps you reconnect with the different aspects of yourself that may feel disconnected or lost. These methods can support your healing and help you feel more whole.

I know from providing trauma focused care for the last five years that you are not alone in this journey, and that you are worthy of the peace you are seeking. Together, we can make that a reality!
