Mindspace Counseling is an online mental health counseling practice based in Charlotte, North Carolina, offering secure, confidential, and evidence-based therapy services for adults. We provide online therapy across North Carolina, South Carolina, and internationally when permitted by licensing laws.

We focus on client-centered care, trauma-informed approaches, and empowerment. Our therapists help clients discover their strengths, build resilience, and take active roles in their healing journey. We also foster collaboration, professional growth, and holistic well-being for our team.

Online therapy is available for adults and teens ages 15+ in North Carolina and South Carolina, as well as international clients where licensing regulations allow.

Yes. All sessions are conducted through HIPAA-compliant, secure platforms to protect client privacy and confidentiality.

Yes. Our online anxiety treatment focuses on skill-building, emotional regulation, and addressing underlying causes of anxiety. We help clients regain control, calm their nervous system, and reduce panic, worry, or overwhelm.

Payments & Insurance

Yes. Many of our therapists are in-network with Aetna, BCBS, Cigna/Evernorth, Ambetter, and State Health Plan. Out-of-network and self-pay options are also available.

Clients who are uninsured or not using insurance have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of the expected cost of services. This ensures transparency and allows clients to dispute any bill exceeding $400 above the estimate. More info: cms.gov/nosurprises

Session Logistics

Sessions typically last 50–60 minutes. EMDR Intensive sessions may be longer, depending on treatment goals.

You can schedule initial consultation or intake sessions through our online client portal or by contacting our Client Care Coordinator. Cancellations and rescheduling policies will be explained during your consultation or intake, and are outlined in our intake/consent paperwork.

You need a stable internet connection, a computer or mobile device with a camera/microphone, and access to our HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform.
